Reflection I am learning to write descriptive words in my recount. I found it easy to put good details on my writing.I need to improve on using good descriptive words in my writing and also making sure that I put all my five W.

Guy Fawkes Reading Response

Reflection I was learning to find and summarize information in a nonfiction text by skimming and scanning. I was a bit successful because I can find information by skimming and scanning. I need to keep on practicing on my skimming and scanning and make a good good sentence for my answers. My next step is to make a good sentence for my answers.

The Haunted House Reading Response

Reflection I was learning to link implicit and explicit ideas in the text to give a greater understanding of the story. I was successful because I can do explicit questions and I understand the story a bit. I found it a little bit hard to do implicit questions. My next step is understanding more about the story so I can do implicit questions.

Persuasive Speech

My Reflection: I was learning to write, plan and present a persuasive speech. I think I almost achieved my success criteria because I have a introduction, a conclusion and three paragraphs each giving a good fact why we should wear school uniforms. Next time I write or present a speech I will need to work on giving more good reasons for my three paragraphs and put a good hook to make my reader get really interested with my speech. I think I did well at researching my facts and I had a fact for each paragraph.

Time

Reflection I was learning to express time on analogue clocks, digital clocks, and words. I think I achieved this because I got all of them correct especially doing the digital clocks because they were easy. My next step is to learn more about time and learning the 24 hours.

I was learning to read clearly to an audience with fluency and expression. I was successful by making my voice clear. I need to improve on using more expression.

Reflection I am learning to make and Justify simple inferences. I found this easy because I can link implicit information from the text to make an information. I need to improve on using explicit language from the text to justify inferences.

Tapa art

Reflection
I was learning about Tapa coth. I used a skull and a flower design.I used repeated patterns and 1/3 brown dye 1/3 black vivid and 1/3 brown paper. I learnt where tapa cloth comes from ,what they are  made off and what they used for. I enjoyed doing the patterns and the brown die. Next time I need to make it more creative.

I found this easy because I can connect ideas from the other text I have read,I can make comparisons within a text characters personalities and I can use personal experiences to connect ideas in the text. Reflection I was learning to make connections in the text and compare two characters personalities. I found this a easy because I can compare characters very well I need to improve making it more sense.

Reflection I am learning to compare a traditional and the fractured fairy tale. I found this easy because I can write the difference of both fairy tales and the similar of both fairy tales. I wish if I can write about the beginning not just the problem.

Reflection I am learning to extend my vocabulary. I found this a bit hard to find words that are related to the Olympics from A-Z. Next time I think I will use more interesting Olympic words.

Splitting numbers

Reflection I am learning to solve subtraction problems by splitting numbers to go back through ten. I found this really easy because I was splitting my numbers . I need to work using bigger numbers.

Reading Around The World

Reflection I am learning to find and summarise information in nonfiction text by skimming and scanning. I found this hard because whenever I look at a book or search informarion up.It is very hard for me to find the correct answer. Next time I need to improve on looking at some books and not just searching it up.

Moment in time

Reflection I was learning to do a moment in time story. I found it hard to find the right words to fit in to my story. I enjoyed this peace of work because it is more fun then paragraphs.
